If an employee is uncertain on the way to utilize a tool, he will read the manufacturer's instructions to get a better understanding. After the tools are used, it's got to be safely stored in the correct place. Fire extinguishing gear should be kept in a visible spot. Staff must be told where the units are found. Cigarettes, matches and inflammable liquids should be kept a long distance from the construction site. When using refueling material make sure you clean up any spills. Even the rags or material used should be securely stored till the next use. When using ladders, use authorized ladders of high quality. Rubber-soled shoes will give you a better footing. When carrying the ladder from one place to another keep it parallel to the ground and then hoisted it should be 3 feet above the lead spot.
